During your consultation, Dr. Fischer will perform an examination and develop an appropriate treatment plan for your needs. Endodontic treatment is not only limited to root canal treatment, therefore a consultation prior to treatment is usually recommended.
At the consultation appointment, imaging including 2-D and possibly 3-D imaging will be ordered and reviewed.
Dr. Fischer will review recommended and alternative treatment options with you. If appropriate, treatment will be scheduled.
Please assist our office by providing the following information prior to your initial visit:
- Your referral slip and any relevant radiographs from your referring office.
- An updated list of medications.
- An updated medical, dental and surgical history including any allergies. Please alert our office of medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves, artificial joints, use of blood thinners, etc.
- If you have dental insurance, please provide a copy of your card and we will be happy to assist you in filing a claim.
Every attempt will be made to see you as soon as possible. We are an emergency-based clinic, so there are frequent changes in our schedule. We ask that you arrive on time to scheduled appointments. If you wish to complete the intake forms in our office, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled visit. Alternatively, we’re happy to provide you with a secure link to send your medical information directly to our office ahead of your visit.
In the event you have to change your appointment, please provide us with as much notice as possible. There may be a fee assessed for missed appointments.
Insurance and financial policies
We make every effort to provide you with endodontic care of the highest quality. We’re happy to work with your insurance company to maximize reimbursement for covered procedures. Please understand that insurance policies are a contract between the policyholder and the insurance company.
During your first visit, we will discuss treatment plans and the probable fees involved. For your convenience, we gladly accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and personal checks.
Please remember you are fully responsible for all fees charged by our office, regardless of your insurance coverage.
